Dessert is an essential with any meal that you may have and Valentine’s Day is no different! Many people are choosing to eat their Valentine’s Day dinner at home this year. While this is a bit different than usual, it creates the opportunity to bond while cooking a romantic meal together. Dessert is the most important part of every meal, and here is list of some of the Valentine’s Day dessert recipes.

The first dessert are chocolate covered strawberry mini cheesecakes. These cheesecakes are easy to prepare and small enough for any person to justify eating. The first step is to create the bottom of the cheesecakes. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, salt, and melted butter. Add a tablespoon of the mixture to a cupcake liner and press down to make the mixture even. Bake these in the oven for eight minutes at 375 degrees. Next, combine and mix together cream cheese, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. After this is creamy, beat in an egg yolk one at a time. Whip up the egg whites until they are frothy and thick. Gently add in the egg whites to the cream cheese. Add the filling to each cupcake liner. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. After a few hours, add the hard shell topping. Use a double broiler to melt down the chocolate wafers. Take a spoon and pour the chocolate over the top of each cheesecake. Next, dip strawberries in the leftover chocolate and add to the top of the mini cheesecake. This is a great recipe that is tasty yet light, as this mini cheesecake is not as rich as the regular dessert .
